DIGITAL DESIGN

The students are introduced to Adobe Photoshop software as the primary digital tool. The assignments include covering: photo/raster/bitmapped-based scanning, image formats, optimization. re-touching, adjustments, compositing, blending, color, conceptual and narrative techniques, current technical and creative methods and styles employed by Graphic Designers as well as introductory critical concepts and professional practices.
The students will build portfolio pieces with an emphasis on professional standards.
The assignments emphasize on the design and layout applications employed as tools by Graphic Designers in real-world projects.
